Shooting Threat, Twitch Allows Employees to Work from Home!

Twitch has reportedly received threats of targeted shooting at its San Francisco office. Because of this, employees are given the option to work from home, as San Francisco police are securing the building and investigating the threat.

Adam Lobsinger, a San Francisco police officer, said the situation was no longer an ‘active threat’ but the investigation would continue. So far, no one has been charged with this threat.

Representatives from Twitch said the threat came on Tuesday and targeted its headquarters in San Francisco. This investigation has also been referred to the special investigation department by the police.

This threat can be taken very seriously, considering that last year the YouTube office in California was attacked by a shooter which left two of its employees injured. Because of this, the American police do not want the same thing to happen again.
