Recently, the developer has confirmed that DredOut 2 will be released in the near future. The news was conveyed through a video uploaded by the developer.
Most likely release in January-March
Through the video above, the developer said that DreadOut 2 will be released in the first quarter of 2020. This means, it will most likely be released in January to March 2020.
DreadOut 2 is a sequel to the first game. Here, Linda still uses her smartphone as a tool to exorcise ghosts. However, some significant changes also occur in this sequel.
One of them is Linda can use melee weapons to hit nosy ghosts. For example, weapons such as knives are used to stab the creatures in front of them.

In addition, the developer said that DreadOut 2 will be more sinister than the previous series. This means, there will be a significant improvement in the storyline for the game.
On the other hand, the gameplay of this game seems quite different from the first version of DreadOut. For example, the characters from this game have short hair. Not only that, the area of this game is also quite wide because it includes a city, not a single building like before.
