MSI CEO Charles Chiang Dies, Police Conduct Investigation!

Exactly yesterday or on July 7, 2020, sad news came from one of the gaming device manufacturers from Taiwan, MSI (Micro Star International). The reason, the CEO, namely Sheng-Chang Chiang reportedly died suddenly.

Furthermore, MSI confirmed that their CEO had passed away through an official statement released yesterday. After the incident, the police immediately launched an investigation.

Based on information, Charles Chiang fell from the 7th floor in one of the MSI buildings. Unfortunately, it is not known exactly why Chiang could fall from the floor that high.

At that time, a patrol team from MSI was combing around the building at 2 pm. There, they heard a loud sound. Upon arrival, they saw Chiang was lying near the parking lot.

Seeing Chiang’s condition, the police immediately took him to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, Chiang’s life could not be saved and MSI declared that the CEO had died.

After the case, the Taiwan police are still investigating to determine the cause of Chiang’s fall.

Charles Chiang has been with MSI for over 20 years. Chiang took over the CEO position in January 2019. Previously, he served as General Manager of MSI in the Desktop Platform Business division.

Chiang is the person who has contributed the most to MSI in the sector hardware desktop and brings MSI as one of the world’s leading gaming manufacturers together with ASUS.

After Chiang’s departure, it is not clear who will serve as CEO in the future.
