Nintendo PlayStation, World's Rarest Console is Officially Auctioned!

Maybe some of you who grew up in the PlayStation era didn’t know that Sony had developed a console together with Nintendo called the Nintendo PlayStation. This project was originally just to develop a CD-ROM add-on for the SNES console.

However, Sony got too many extra rights which forced Nintendo to cut off the partnership. Before Sony developed the original PlayStation console, the Nintendo PlayStation had successfully developed at least 200 prototype console units whose existence was very, very rare.

Because of its rarity, collectors are increasingly looking for console units that are not easy to find. But someone named Terry Diebold turned out to have one of these rare consoles.

Initially, the gamer found the console in a trash box and had time to question its authenticity before he realized that his findings were genuine.

Having kept the console for the past few years, Diebold decided to auction it off to the highest bidder.

The highest bid reached 4.2 billion rupiah on the first day

The console auction officially opened yesterday and has now reached a price of USD 310,000 or the equivalent of 4.2 billion Rupiah from the highest bidder. This highest bid can be said to be very fantastic, where the auction has only entered the first day.

Don’t know when this auction will end. It will most likely take a week to a month, considering that there are so many collectors who offer this console.

Of course this has the potential to get a much higher bid in the near future. Super rare console is a factor why these collectors do not hesitate to give high prices. Are you one of the collectors of rare items like this? Give your feedback below.
