We all know that Netflix recently released the series The Witcher, which was a huge success and received a positive response. This makes Netflix seem to be starting to feel confident about bringing in other franchises.
The Witcher, played by Henry Cavill himself, is known to get a positive response from gamers and film lovers. After the great success of the CD Projekt franchise, now Netflix will bring the franchise made by Capcom, namely Resident Evil.
Reporting from Gamerant, the Resident Evil series project is reportedly entering the production stage in April. This Netflix version of Resident Evil will be located in South Africa and will consist of 8 episodes with a duration of 60 minutes per episode.
Nothing To Do With The Resident Evil Franchise
Current rumors say that there will be characters like Jade and Billie Wesker who are half-sisters and daughters of Albert Wesker, one of the antagonists in the Resident Evil universe.
Not only that, rumors say that the Resident Evil series has nothing to do with the game franchise.
Well the good news, recently a leak emerged about the plot of Resident Evil itself. Now we at least have a little idea of the story from Resident Evil through a leak that Netflix accidentally leaked and has pulled back.
