A keyboard with a 60% – 65% layout is one of the keyboards that gamers rely on because of its size that makes playing flexible.

Fill the Box Feet Keyboard Bonus
Before discussing the keyboard, the author will discuss about the box and the contents of the purchase package.
The box from Daxa M71 looks premium because the material is a bit hard with decorative patterns and there is a Daxa logo on the front.
When I opened it, the box contained: Daxa M71 Classic keyboard, 2x magnet feet keyboard, 4x blue switches, keycaps puller, switch puller, USB 3.0 Type-C model with braided cable, manual, and warranty card.
The color of the braided cable follows the body of the keyboard, so everything is full-white. The USB is also gold plated.
What is unique, there is a bonus keyboard feet but the installation uses a magnet.
This according to the author makes this premium keyboard more unique. Because basically, many keyboard feet are not magnetic models like this, but are built-in.
It’s just that there is no slot to put the magnetic feet keyboard on the Daxa M71. When not in use, like it or not, you have to put the legs in a box or other safe place so they don’t get lost. So it’s not efficient.
Build Quality Solid
This keyboard has a 65% layout with a total of 71 keys measuring (w) 33cm x (l) 12cm x (h) 3cm. The weight of the keyboard is a bit heavy, so it doesn’t make it easy to move when playing games.
The keyboard color that I received is Elegant White or white. In addition to white, there are other color variants, namely Black Beauty or what we call black.
Daxa M71 Classic has a premium build quality. Starting from the body to the keycaps it’s good and feels solid.
The keyboard case is still made of plastic, but feels solid enough with a smooth surface.
The keycaps material itself is ABS plastic which feels thick. The author feels good when typing, it’s not slippery, so there’s no problem.
Printing fonts or other symbols is also not grandiose alias is okay.
With 71 keys, this keyboard has no special function keys. It’s just that the functions are transferred to numbers at the top of the keyboard. In addition, the prt scr (screenshot) button is also missing.
Carrying detachable connectivity, the USB cable port is located on the left side of the keyboard.
At the bottom of the keyboard there are 4 legs whose material is rubber. Especially for the front legs, there are magnets on the inside so that users can attach them with additional keyboard feet which are also made of magnets.
The location of the front legs itself is really located on the very edge. But because the magnet is very strong, so it’s not easy to slide or fall off.
Carrying Outemu Switch and It’s Hot Swappable
Rexus provides 3 color variants for the switch on the Daxa M71 Classic, namely brown, red, and blue. The author himself accepts the blue variant.
The Blue Switch that Rexus uses for this keyboard itself is Outemu which has tactile and clicky characteristics.
Lifespan switch itself up to 50 million times.
It has become the hallmark of Rexus for its keyboard which often uses Outemu.
There’s no problem with the switch itself. When I press it, it feels light but it is very noisy for typing.
But if you feel that it doesn’t match the feel when typing using Blue Outemu, don’t worry. Rexus also provides a Hot Swappable feature on the switch.
RGB-Rich Daxa M71
To attract gamers, Rexus certainly added RGB features to their premium keyboard.
With its RGB LED lights, the colors look very beautiful.
What makes it different from RGB in general, on this keyboard there is a Side Lamp which is also RGB.
There are several ways to change the mode or RGB color.
First, FN + HOME key combination to switch 17 RGB effects in turn. Second, Combination FN + INS to replace RGB on the Side Lamp. Third, Combination FN + END to change the color of the RGB lights.
Then combine with arrow keys namely, FN + Up Arrow to increase brightness, FN + Down Arrow to decrease, FN + Right Arrow to increase speed, and FN + Left Arrow to decrease speed.
With its RGB which has many modes, colors, and there is also a Side Lamp, this keyboard looks even cooler for dark room situations or at night.
In addition to RGB settings, users can also set this keyboard with other key combinations. For example, to enter game mode to activate the macro button, just press FN + Tab and the RGB keyboard will light up for several times during mode switching.
Or other settings like FN + Win which can unlock or lock the Windows key.

The conclusion from this Rexus Daxa M71 Classic review is that this premium keyboard is affordable but has premium build quality and features.
With a layout of 65% totaling 71 keys, this keyboard gives an aesthetic impression.
The ABS plastic keycaps and keyboard case are still plastic but feel solid–not cheap plastic.
The Blue Switch from Outemu provides clicky tactile characteristics, perfect for those of you who really like these characteristics.
But if you don’t like these characteristics, Rexus provides the answer because this keyboard is Hot Swappable, which means you can replace the switch with another brand or model.
This keyboard is also unique because it has detachable legs because it uses magnets. Although unfortunately there is no slot to put the feet on the keyboard.
The USB 3.0 connectivity cable has a detachable and braided gold-plated coating. The color of the cable also follows the keyboard.
Regarding RGB, Rexus provides more features to this keyboard. There are side lamps which are also RGB which makes this keyboard more colorful. There are a lot of RGB customizations on the keyboard. There are a total of 17 kinds of RGB effects.
