Yesterday, the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 – Online: Europe & CIS tournament was successfully held. As a result, the CIS representative, Virtus.pro, emerged as the champion after defeating OG with a score of 3-2.
Virtus.pro’s victory over OG was quite surprising to many. However, behind this victory, there are some interesting facts.
OG Swallowed 3 Losses to VP
In this tournament, OG and Virtus.pro met 3 times. Virtus.pro won the three matches with details 1 time in the group phase, and 2 times in the playoffs.
Especially in the final match, OG appeared fierce by winning the second and third games. Unfortunately, Virtus.pro performed quite well and won the first, fourth, and fifth games.
Virtus.pro’s win ensured they took home a $60,000 prize pool. Unfortunately, this tournament is not included in the Dota Pro Circuit list and each team does not get DPC Points.
Virtus.pro and OG Appear Without Main Roster
As we know, these two teams appear without their main roster. The reason is, OG is not reinforced by Topson and MidOne. Especially for MidOne, he is currently in Malaysia and cannot fly to OG headquarters.
