Approximately 2 months until 2019 will officially end. However, before it ends, right in December, the Game Awards event is regularly held. This event will give appreciation to the games that have enlivened the year 2019.
Yesterday, the nominations for The Game Awards were officially announced. Where there are lots of the best games that were nominated in various categories. But what became the focal point of gamers was the GOTY or Game of The Year nomination.
6 Games have been nominated for GOTY

This category itself is indeed what gamers have been waiting for because it is indeed a place where the best games this year compete with each other. Well, for this year there are about 6 games selected from all the games released this year.
The six games are Control from developer Remedy Entertainment, Death Stranding from Kojima Productions, Resident Evil 2 Remake from Capcom, Sekiro Shadows: Die Twice from Activision, Super Smash Brosh from Bandai Namco and The Outer Worlds from Obsidian Entertainment.
You could say that the six games that were included in the GOTY category above were partly predicted. Starting from Death Stranding to Resident Evil 2 Remake. But the presence of Control and The Outer Worlds certainly invites a big question mark from many gamers.
Devil may Cry 5 not nominated

Both games do come with solid quality, but they don’t provide a strong enough breakthrough to be nominated for Game of The Year. Moreover, there are other games that are very suitable to be included in the Game of The Year nominations such as Devil May Cry 5 by developer Capcom.
For those of you who are curious, The Game Awards itself will be held on December 13th. Not only being an award event, The Game Awards will also be a place for the announcement of the latest games that will be released next year. You can see the stream on Youtube, Twitch and other platforms.
