This mouse from Rexus named Arka is a gaming mouse that carries 2 connection models.
The author personally when he found out that Rexus released this kind of mouse, it seemed that Arka could be the author’s daily driver.
Not only because it already carries dual connectivity, but other features in this mouse are suitable for hybrid use. Given that the author really likes to play online games and has an obligation to do work. Therefore, this mouse seems to be able to be used by the author.
It’s just that, there are things that the author is a little less wearing for this mouse.
Check out the following Rexus Arka review.
Unboxing Rexus Arka: Like Food

This is the first time after decades of reviewing Rexus products, the box from Rexus Arka is the most unique box (anti mainstream) than ever the author of the review.
The Rexus Arka box is like a food supply that looks like it has a rectangular shape and can be opened from 4 sides. The lid is kind of like using a click model which is easy to close and open.
The material is thin plastic for the top and bottom. While the side of the box feels hard.
Then the matter of appearance, the front shows a picture of a mouse with some of its features. While the back describes the detailed specifications of the mouse.

Then the contents of the box include: Rexus Arka, 2.4GHz receiver dongle (already installed in the mouse), Type-C cable that has been paracord along 1.8 meters, and a warranty card.
Hybrid Mouse For All Activities

Rexus Arka as a gaming mouse has dimensions of 12.6 cm long, 6.6 cm wide, and 4 cm high.
The author, who usually uses Rexus Daxa Air as a daily driver, is quite used to using a mouse that has a height almost like this Rexus Arka.
So for casual, I usually prefer palm grip. But when playing games like Apex Legends, it’s usually claw grip. It just depends on the situation and conditions for this grip.
The Arka sensor uses Rexus’ subscription sensor, the Pixart PMW3325. The DPI range of the sensor can reach 10,000 DPI. We can change the DPI via the 2 DPI buttons behind the scroll button. The front button is to increase the DPI, while the back button is to decrease it.
Apart from using the button, we can tinker with the DPI template again through the dedicated Rexus Arka software. The software itself can be downloaded via the Rexus site.
With a poll rate of up to 1000Hz, Arka is suitable for playing competitive games like Apex Legends.
Then the weight of the mouse itself seems heavy, which is 118 grams. Well, this is what the author said at the beginning about what is less than wearing this mouse.
The author is used to using the mouse lightweight with a weight of just under 80 grams like the Rexus Daxa Air or Razer Viper 8KHz.
When trying this mouse, like it or not, the author must get used to using a mouse that weighs more than 110 grams.
It’s just that after getting used to it, the author can again feel the precision and movement of the mouse to match the hand movements that the author wants.
According to Rexus, the reason why this mouse is so heavy is because the battery that Arka has has a large capacity. As a result, the weight of the mouse must be the victim.
Large Battery Capacity
The battery capacity that Arka has itself is Lithium 900mAh which we can recharge.
We can activate this wireless usage by plugging in the 2.4GHz USB dongle/receiver. Fortunately, Rexus efficiently provides a place for the dongle on the mouse pad. Not only that, the dongle is small so it doesn’t interfere with other USBs installed on the PC.
Then for distance, the writer who tried to plug the dongle into the PC in the corner of the room, then left the room, the mouse couldn’t respond anymore. The distance itself is only about 4-5 meters. The author is quite understanding because Arka only uses a receiver, not Bluetooth technology which can reach a distance of more than 8 meters.
When the author tries to play Apex Legends, the delay is almost not noticed by the author. Moreover, the first time the author tried Arka to play Apex Legends, the end result was that the author was able to win the match and become the kill leader.
For the duration of wireless use, the Arka mouse can last up to 6 days without RGB.
We can see the battery indicator itself via software.
It was about the wireless, now it’s about the wired mode.
Arka’s wired mode is supported by 1.8 meters of paracord cable connectivity.

For a mouse at this price, which is already paracord, it is an advantage that the author should appreciate.
If you see, this mouse is detachable for the cable.
The cable itself is Type-C which gives you another option by replacing the cable with a charging cable, for example when you lose the stock cable of the mouse.
Or you want to modify this Arka cable again, you can really as long as it uses a Type-C port.
Mouse With Total 8 Button

The Huano switch is the switch of choice for the buttons on this Rexus Arka. Arka button durability reaches 20 million clicks.

The total buttons on this mouse are 7+1 buttons. The 7 buttons include: left/right click, scroll, DPI+ & DPI- , 2 side buttons (forward & backward), and finally 1 button on the mouse pad. This last button serves to switch the mouse function from Wired to Wireless and vice versa.

This button has 3 levels, namely Off for wired mode, light icon for entering wireless mode but without an RGB mouse, and ON when entering wireless mode and RGB remains on.
Of course, in order to save battery, the author prefers to set it to no RGB so that the usage lasts longer.
There is RGB

And regarding RGB, this mouse carries RGB LEDs located in 3 places, namely on the scroll button, the Rexus icon logo on the back of the mouse, and on the back side.
To change the RGB mouse mode, we can only do it through software.
In addition to RGB too, in the software we can customize buttons, macros, and mouse profiles.

Rexus Arka Ar Review Conclusion
The conclusion for this Rexus Arka review is that this mouse is suitable for those of you who usually spend time on gaming and office work, for example.
Its dual connectivity features, namely wired and wireless, can support both activities. The wireless is almost impossible to notify the existing delay, so for gaming use there is no problem.
The battery of the mouse is also of a large capacity, so wireless use can last a long time without having to do frequent charging.
Even though the Pixart PMW3325 sensor only has a DPI range of up to 10000, but at least the mouse polling rate is already gaming-able that is 1000Hz.
It’s just that maybe the drawback of this mouse is that its weight is too heavy for those of you who are used to using a light mouse weighing under 80 grams. Given the mouse has a weight of up to 110 grams more.
For those who are interested, you can buy this Rexus Arka mouse for Rp. 299,000 for a discounted price when this review is live. Here’s the purchase link: Tokopedia
