Final Fantasy 15 Prompto VR Shooter Mode Not Released? – VR mode for Final Fantasy XV is still on its way in Monster of the Deep, which was originally revealed last year to never see the light of day. Square Enix has confirmed that the shooter-style demo that premiered at E3 2016 will not be released to the public.
In a statement issued to GameSpot, Square Enix stated,
“Final Fantasy XV: VR Experience at E3 2016 was a technology demo that we showed. Since then, we’ve learned a lot from that technology and have leveraged our learning from the Episode Prompto DLC. The result was our first PlayStation VR title, Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV. “

More news from Square Enix
This news follows a report from Sirus Gaming, which stated that Square Enix announced that the project had died at a recent PlayStation Experience event in Malaysia. Final Fantasy 15 has seen far more support than the typical single-player Final Fantasy game. In addition to various free updates and premium DLC packages, Square Enix is also planning to release an update that introduces online multiplayer, which is on display in its two latest beta tests.
