Through a tweet from one of the leaker Genshin Impact, it appears that miHoYo is preparing a Tower Defense event in the update next month. Looking at the photos, the event has something to do with the Lantern Rite Festival which was held in February.
According to the description, this event is Co-Op in nature or in the sense that you can do it with other people or friends. If according to the existing leaks, you are required to protect Liyue from existing enemies. Each wave of attacks will obviously be different later.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed information about this event. Moreover, miHoYo’s strict rules make it difficult for people to get leaks about events to update in v1.3 later.
Characters That Have a Chance to Appear in Future Versions
Based on the available information, Xiao has a great chance to be present in the v1.3 update next month. Because, this coincides with the Lantern Rite Festival which also presents Xiao as one of the important characters there.
